Clyde Penn, President of Penngood LLC, a strategic communications firm approached the Director of the Virginia MBDA Business Center after the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council’s MBE Orientation program and requested immediate cost accounting assistance. Mr. Penn’s firm had experienced a very disappointing 2016 business development season, primarily due to the company’s failure to price competitively. Within 24 hours, our Director conducted a needs assessment and initial coaching call with Mr. Penn. Within 48 hours, our Director referred Mr. Penn to a cost accounting and operations expert. According to Mr. Penn, this advice and referral of a cost accounting expert, changed the trajectory of his company!
